INGLEWOOD, Calif. (Dec. 12, 2013)—John Kent of Columbus, Ohio won the $2,500 winner-take-all Show Me The Money contest Thursday at Betfair Hollywood Park.
The free challenge, which began Nov. 10 with 1,714 players, required a participant to choose one horse each racing day – in six designated races – at least 10 minutes before the first race. The selected horse had to finish first, second or third for a player to continue.Read the Full Story
INGLEWOOD, Calif. (December 12, 2013)—Teddy’s Promise, who has earned half of her career wins at Betfair Hollywood Park, will make her final start over Cushion Track in the $100,000 Playa del Rey Stakes Sunday.
An ungraded race at six furlongs for older fillies and mares, the Playa del Rey, which returned to the stakes schedule this year for the first time since 2010, is the eighth of nine races. Post time Sunday is 12:30 p.m. and track gates will open at 9:55 a.m. for simulcasts.Read the Full Story
