11 A.M. Post Time Thanksgiving Day; Afternoon Racing Friday
INGLEWOOD, Calif. (Nov. 22, 2009) — The post time schedule changes Thanksgiving Week at Hollywood Park with a shift to afternoon racing on Friday for the remainder of the 27-day Autumn Meet, which concludes Sunday, Dec. 20.
Post time will be at 12:30 p.m. each day with the exception of the traditional 11 a.m. start for Thursday’s Thanksgiving Day program.
Friday is the first day of the 18th Turf Festival, featuring the $300,000 Citation Handicap (GI). The $300,000 Matriarch (GI) and the $100,000 Generous Stakes (GIII) will be run on Saturday, while Sunday — Zenyatta Day at Hollywood Park — will feature the $300,000 Hollywood Derby (GI) and the $100,000 Miesque Stakes (GIII).
