JOEL ROSARIO, OBRIGADO, Winner: “They were going a little fast for a mile and three quarters — :24 and :48. My horse comes from off the pace and it was perfect for him. I was following Porfido because he was the horse to beat. I just didn’t want him to get too far in front of me. This horse has been running against some nice horses. This was a lot easier company for him.”
NEIL DRYSDALE, OBRIGADO, Winner: “He seems to prefer running over training. He likes this course. I liked the fact that he was way out the back. The plan was to let him settle because there was a lot of speed in the race for this type of race.”
