INGLEWOOD, Calif. (May 20, 2010)-Already a stakes winner at the spring-summer meet, U R All That I Am will switch to the turf in search of another in the $60,000 Fran’s Valentine on Sunday at Hollywood Park.
Bred by owners Tommy Town Thoroughbreds LLC and trained by Jerry Hollendorfer, U R All That I Am has won seven of 14 while earning $270,188.
Her latest victory came in the B. Thoughtful Stakes on April 24, which was California Gold Rush Day.
The 1-2 favorite against four opponents, the 4-year-old Valid Wager filly and the Fort Calgary mare Fort Silver won by a half-length over Ruffled Feathers.
In the Fran’s Valentine, a one mile race restricted to California bred fillies and mares, U R All That I Am will be making only her second start on grass. She was beaten a head by Unzip Me when 19-1 in her first on the surface in the $100,000 Irish O’Brien on the hillside course at Santa Anita on March 20.
Rafael Bejarano rides and she will carry 120 pounds.
Looking for his first win in the Fran’s Valentine, Hollendorfer is also scheduled to run You Lift Me Up, a mare he co-owns with George Todaro.
A 5-year-old daughter of Lord Carson and the Green Dancer mare Up On Her Toes, You Lift Me Up has won eight of 32, amassing a $443,299 bankroll. She has had most of her success on turf. Six of her victories and $349,235 of her earnings have come on grass.

All of her wins have come since being claimed for $40,000 out of a maiden race last June 14 at Hollywood Park.
Woman Warrior is also a two time grass winner, but has yet to win around two turns for breeder, owner and trainer Bruce Headley. The 5-year-old One Man Army mare out of the Native Repent mare Marrakech Gold was most recently fifth in an optional claimer on April 28 on Cushion Track.
Second behind Camille C. in the $150,000 Melair on April 24, Salty Fries will be making her first start on turf Sunday. An In Excess filly out of the Salt Lake mare Salty Steph, she is owned by breeder Legacy Ranch and trained by David Hofmans. A winner of three of nine with earnings of $119,122, she was supplemented to the Fran’s Valentine for $1,200. Salty Fries is the lone 3-year-old in the field.
