INGLEWOOD, Calif. (July 4, 2013)—Travesura, who won the Miesque Stakes last Nov. 24 in her lone start over the Betfair Hollywood Park turf course, will make her initial appearance in more than six months in the $70,000 Le Cle Stakes Sunday.

Restricted to 3-year-old fillies at one mile on grass, the Le Cle is the third of nine races. Post time Sunday at Betfair Hollywood Park is 1 p.m. Track gates will open at 9:55 a.m. for simulcasts.

Trained by Jeff Mullins for Val-U-Chem, Inc., Travesura has been idle since finishing 10th of 11 in the Blue Norther Stakes New Year’s Day at Santa Anita.

A daughter of Limehouse and the Tale of the Cat mare Tempestra, Travesura finished her 2012 campaign with a gate-to-wire, 11-1 upset in the Miesque, a Grade III and part of the annual Turf Festival during the Autumn meet.

The Kentucky bred has won two – both on grass – of five starts and earned $95,850.

Judy In Disguise stretches out again after finishing second behind longshot Kinz Funky Monkey as the 7-5 favorite in the Manhattan Beach Stakes June 8.

Owned by Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners and trained by Simon Callaghan, Judy In Disguise has won four of nine and banked $113,920.

In her only previous try around two turns, the daughter of Elusive City and the Machiavellian mare Tomorrow’s World split the field in the $173,000 Edgewood Stakes May 3 at Churchill Downs. She finished six lengths behind the winner in the race at 1 1/16 miles on turf.

Redressthebalance returns to grass in her first race since finishing 12th of 13 in the Grade I Ashland Stakes over Keeneland’s Polytrack April 6.

Trained by Doug O’Neill for a partnership that includes Rutherford Group Ltd., Joel Meredith and Richard Pegum, the Ramonti filly out of the Distant View mare Lady Naomi has earned two of three wins on turf. She’s banked $50,050 in 10 starts.

Her sole victory in four starts in this country was a 10-1 surprise in the California Oaks over the Tapeta surface at Golden Gate Fields Feb. 9.

Wednesday was supplemented to the Le Cle for $1,400 by trainer Carla Gaines for Swift Thoroughbreds, Inc. The daughter of Medaglia d’Oro and the Crafty Prospector mare Chandelle returns to turf and two turns after scoring in her Cushion Track debut June 6.

She earned her second victory in seven starts with a pace-pressing trip, ultimately prevailing by 1 ¾ lengths in 1:17.84 for the 6 ½ furlongs. Worse than third only once, Wednesday has earned $109,940.

Lady Rosamond will race beyond seven furlongs for the first time for Peachtree Stable after finishing fourth in the Manhattan Beach.

Trained by Hall of Famer Bob Baffert, the Keyed Entry filly out of the Halo’s Image mare Dixie Image has won twice in six starts. Her bankroll is $87,421.

Need You Now makes her second start at one mile in the United States after finishing fourth in the Grade III Senorita Stakes May 11.

A filly by Kheleyf and the Shernazar mare Sniffle, Need You Now races for the Obviously connection – owners Anthony Fanticola and Joseph Scardino and trainer Mike Mitchell.

Obviously is a double graded stakes winner at the Spring/Summer meet, taking the Grade II American Handicap May 25 and the Grade I Shoemaker Mile June 29.

Bred in Ireland by John M. Weld, Need You Now has won twice in six starts and has earnings of $31,684.
