Week 31 of Night School will give racing fans an inside look at how races are put together and what it means to handicappers as the national fan education initiative presents a course on “The Racing Office/Jockey Agents” tonight at 5:30 p.m. PT. The session will be hosted by Joe Kristufek, Jeremy Plonk and Caton Bredar.
Tonight’s final 30 minutes of Night School, the “Jump Ball” segment, will include Plonk & Kristufek’s reactions to FallStars Weekend at Keeneland, where they have been live on site and will be hosting a special Night School on-track handicapping seminar/meet-and-greet this coming Saturday, Oct. 15 at 11:30 a.m. trackside at Keeneland.
Guests this week include George Berry, stakes coordinator at Arlington Park and a racing office official at Keeneland and Gulfstream, as well as a return Night School appearance from Steve Leving, racing advisor to the Louis Roussel III stable. Leving is a former jockey agent and racing office official who has seen the sport from all angles.
Video input from current jockey agent and former racing secretary Doug Bredar will also be featured.
