Special Sunday Edition Of The Inside Scoop Features Mike Smith

INGLEWOOD, Calif. (Nov. 27, 2009) — Hall of Fame jockey Mike Smith will be Kurt Hoover’s guest on a special edition of The Inside Scoop on Sunday, which is Zenyatta Day at Hollywood Park.

Zenyatta, the undefeated super mare who became the first female winner of the Breeders’ Cup Classic earlier this month at Santa Anita Park, will be honored following the seventh race on Sunday’s program.

Smith, rider of Zenyatta for the last 11 victories of her perfect 14-race career, will join Hoover at 11:30 a.m. — one hour prior to first post time — at the Garden Paddock tote board.

Handicapper and turf writer Bob Mieszerski will be Hoover’s guest on Saturday’s edition of The Inside Scoop.
