Thursday Through Sunday Schedule At Hollywood Park
INGLEWOOD, Calif. (June 9, 2009) — The racing week at Hollywood Park will run Thursday through Sunday through the remainder of the 56-day meet. Post time is at 1 p.m. with the exception of a 7:05 p.m. start on Fridays.
A quartet of stakes races will be run this week, beginning with the Cinderella for 2-year-old fillies when racing resumes on Thursday. The $250,000 Californian will be run for the 56th time on Saturday along with the $100,000 Round Table Handicap. The racing week will conclude with the $70,000 Desert Stormer Handicap on Sunday.
Hollywood Park will continue to offer free general admission on Thursdays as well as $1 hot dogs, sodas and beers (12 noon until 3 p.m.). As is tradition at Hollywood Park, the $1 specials will also be offered during Friday night’s program, which will be followed by a concert by The Police Experience.
