Two Carryovers Await Players Wednesday At Del Mar

INGLEWOOD, Calif. (August 13, 2012)—There will be two carryovers when racing resumes Wednesday at Del Mar. Post time is 2:05 p.m. Track gates at Betfair Hollywood Park will open at 10 a.m. for simulcasts.

The carryover in the Players’ Pick 5, a 50 cent minimum wager with a reduced 14% takeout rate, is $363,503. Offered daily on the first five races at Southern California tracks, the Players’ Pick 5 was introduced at Betfair Hollywood Park April 21, 2011.

Thanks to a parade of Sunday upsets, there is also a Pick Six carryover of $240,680. The Pick Six will begin in the third race. Approximate post time is 3:05
